Jon and Luke bring complementary backgrounds in engineering, controls, and the electrical trade to JZ Electric. Together, they connect an understanding of how systems work with the experience to get them installed.

Jon Zager
Jon pairs an engineering mindset with practical controls experience. A graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) with degrees in electrical engineering and computer science, he began his career in industrial controls, spending three years programming PLCs before moving into HVAC controls and starting JZ Electric Services in 2023.
Along the way, Jon earned his master electrician license, adding a strong foundation in electrical installation to his programming and controls background. That combination gives him a broad perspective on a project—from the logic behind a system to the wiring and equipment that make it work.

Luke Brunzelle
A licensed master electrician, Luke has built his career in the electrical trade since 2008, developing the hands-on experience that comes from working in the field. His path grew from installation work into leadership, and in 2022 he took responsibility for running an electrical and controls department.
In 2026, Luke teamed up with Jon at JZ Electric Services, bringing years of field experience and department leadership to the business. He brings a practical understanding of installation and coordination, with a focus on turning project requirements into well-executed work.
